"Down on the Farm" (7/31-8/2) will be a great event with lots of space, and tons of great outdoor settings! You can find great natural light in various corners of the property all day long. The barn with it's rich wood and stone work offers some good indoor opportunities as well. Photographers, and models alike will love all of the nook and crannies of the farm.

Nature abounds; here you'll find some very interesting old growth trees, wildlife, various water elements, rock formations, and more. A fully functional restroom will be available. Campers can utilize the grounds, and shower for the duration of the shoot for a $20 fee payable to the property owner.

You must RSVP to attend; admission will only be granted to members that RSVP.

Interim release:

Part 1; The following release information is being provided to ease the implementation of the event. This blanket release allows contributing parties the right to self promote by means of online or printed portfolio use of images, provided all contributing parties have had an opportinity to review the material, and have no objections to it's use. No further stipulations can be required for members to participate and recieve images under part 1 of the release.

Part 2; Members with a market are encouraged to negotiate agreeable terms for commercial use of created work. It will be the responsibility of the involved parties to reconcille their own terms of usage, and compensation beyond this aggreement. In no case shall part 2, or subsequent agreements supersede part 1, or the ability of members to promote themselves.

The spirit of the release is to protect the interests of all members, and use of images, while providing usable images to those members, and a conduit for members to go beyond a "TF" use of images, for the purpose of marketing their work.

Only members on the RSVP list will be admitted.

When : Saturday, October 4th 10am - until Late

Where : Slyhorse Studio in Rockville, MD
"The new studio is so huge we have have over 3000 sq feet of space and a 4 station MUA room and a Product shooting area. A great waiting room right outside the studio door and large waiting area down stairs. We will also have a great gallery area set up soon"

The Studio is Metro Accessible on the Red Line at Twinbrook Station. A shuttle will be running at 20 minute intervals.

I'm asking everyone that comes to put in a voluntary donation of $10 to cover studio rental and to pay Makeup Artists. The Makeup Artists should also have a tip jar available, in case the photographers or models really love the work.

This will be an indoor location so weather won't be a problem, but there are also lots of Industrial places in the area to shoot.

Lot's of lights, props, and some clothes will be provided.

Any makeup artists that are interested, let me know what you will charge to attend. Remember if I have to drag some photographers in you will get portfolio grade pictures too.
